Floyd Hahn, March 1940 - October 2023
Floyd was born in Rexburg, Idaho, March 21, 1940, the second son to Arthur C. Hahn and Pearl J. Siepert.
He is survived by his wife, Phyllis, of Bentley Oklahoma, daughter Deborah S. Hahn and Jerry West of Winslow, Arizona,
son, Clinton A. and Toni Hahn of Edmond, Oklahoma, 5 grandchildren, Preston F. Hahn, Clinton J. West, Leia Socash,
Searra Socash and Naomi Hahn. 4 great-grandchildren, Preslea, McKenna, Lynlee and Millie. Three brothers and two sisters
Kenneth, Dan, Eva, Max and Ann. Floyd was preceeded in death by his parents Arthur and Pearl and two grandchildren.
Floyd graduated high school in Rigby, Idaho, and joined the U.S. Army in 1959 where he became an MP stationed in Germany.
After the Army, he became a pilot and achieved his private, commercial, instructor, instrument and instrument instructor ratings. He began his own
aerial crop spraying business, Queen Bee Inc., in Rigby Idaho in 1969.
In 1978 Floyd moved his family to Winslow, Arizona, where he could fullfil his dream of being a rancher and for
30 years he did just that. In 2006, Floyd and Phyllis retired to Bentley Oklahoma to ranch on a smaller scale.
Floyd was a cowboy all his life and loved his family and his animals. Floyd was an honest and faithful man who had many life-long friends
and influenced many lives.
Floyd passed away in Durant, Oklahoma, October 22, 2023, from complications of heart disease. His ashes will be scattered in the lovely place of his choosing
