Floye Darlene (Alexander) Horn, age 92, an Atoka, OK resident, was born on Tuesday, June 12, 1934, to George Logan and Sevelar (Stiles) Alexander, at Farris, OK. Floye passed away on Friday, July 3, 2026 at her home in Atoka, OK at the age of 92 years and 21 days. She attended Farris School. Floye was a Homemaker. She married James Edward Horn on Friday, August 29th, 1952 at Wichita, KS, they spent 44 wonderful years together before his passing in 1996. Floye was a member of Farris Church of Christ. She enjoyed embroidery, quilting, painting, and mostly socializing with her friends at the Farris Community Center.
She is survived by her daughters, Kay Blakley Dodd of Atoka, OK, Ellen Hebbeler of Centerpoint, OK; son, Glen Horn and wife Sheila of Atoka, OK; grandchildren, Tracie Blakley Cox of Atoka, OK, Jerry Horn of Antlers, OK, Tony Stiles of Lane, OK, Peggy Riley of Alaska, Margaret Cooling of Marion, IL, Shirley Pound of Colorado; 20 great-grandchildren; 14 great-great-grandchildren and 3 on the way.
Floye is preceded in death by her parents,George and Sevelar (Stiles) Alexander; husband, Edward Horn; grandson, Kevin Blakley; brothers, Emmett, George Jr., Lee, L.D., J.W. Alexander; sister, Jewell Standifer; sons-in-law, Peerless Blakely, Don Hebbeler, Jesse Dodd; daughter-in-law, Glenda Horn.
