Obituary Francille (Arterberry) Pierce, age 85, a lifelong Atoka resident, was born on Sunday, February 21, 1926, to Allison and Bertha (White) Arterberry, at Atoka, Ok. Francille passed away on Sunday, December 18, 2011 at Tulsa, Ok.. She graduated from Dunbar High School with honors in 1942. Francille was a Child Nutritionist for the Atoka Schools. She married George Pierce Jr. on April 27, 1946 at Atoka, Ok. Francille was a faithful member of the Mr. Zion Baptist Church in Atoka, Ok. for many years. She enjoyed sewing, gardening, and was an avid reader. Francille is survived by her children, Linda Barnett and husband Roy of Tulsa, Ok., Troy Pierce Sr. and wife Brenda of Sperry, Ok. Leon Pierce Sr. and Marilyn of Skiatook, Ok., Myra Morris and husband Jesse of Gladwater, Tx.; grandchildren, Robert Washington, Lisa Washington, Risa Washington, Kelley Bowler, Kelsey Barnett, Roy Barnett Jr., Sicily Pierce, Troy Pierce Jr., Karl Pierce, Le'Noa Pierce, Latasha Pierce, Leon Pierce Jr., Monica Morris-Roberts, Marsha Morris; 28 great grandchildren 2 great great grandchildren; special niece, Yvonne Viney and husband Joe of Oklahoma City, Ok. niece and nephews, Betty Johnson, Freddy Lewis Pierce and Robert Pierce; along with numerous nieces, nephews, cousins, other relatives, and many dear friends.
