PASSED AWAY: Gene passed away on Wednesday, May 21, 2014 at his son's home in McAlester, OK. AGE: 71 years, 3 months and 18 days. EDUCATION: Gene attended Lane Grade School and then he went to Atoka High School where he graduated in 1961. OCCUPATION: Gene worked as a parts manager for the John Deere dealer in Atoka for many years and he later worked as a prison guard at McCleod Correctional Center. MARRIED: He married Carol Collum in 1961 at Atoka, OK and later married Lois Hicks in 1980, at Atoka, OK. CHURCH AFFILIATION, HOBBIES AND OTHER AFFILIATIONS: Gene was of the Baptist Faith. He was avid hunter and fisherman.. SURVIVED BY DAUGHTER: Jeanette Faro and husband Chris of McKinney, TX.
