PASSED AWAY: Gene passed away on Monday, February 16, 2015 at Atoka, OK. AGE: 73 years and 26 days. EDUCATION: He attended school at Iron Stob Elementary and Atoka Public School. OCCUPATION: Gene owned and operated Rector Garage and Salvage since 1966 to current. (49 years) MILITARY: Gene proudly served his country in the United States Air Force with prior service in the Oklahoma National Guard. He was in maintenance as assistant mechanic in the B52 squadron in Washington State at McCord Air Force Base and Clinton Sherman Air Base at Burris Flat, OK. MARRIED: He married Geraldine "Jerri" (Hallows) on September 22, 1961at Durant, OK. CHURCH AFFILIATION, HOBBIES AND OTHER AFFILIATIONS: Gene was of the Baptist faith. He loved spending time with his family. Gene loved hunting, fishing, and hanging out at table 12 at the Atoka Truck Stop.
