Geneva Lee (Bradford) Bryan, age 81, a resident of Lane, Ok, was born on Monday, November 6,1939 in Lane, Oklahoma to Adam Lester and Maggie Cecelia (Lohden) Bradford. Geneva went to meet her Lord and Savior on Sunday, February 21, 2021 in Carefree, Arizona. She was a graduate of W.H. Adamson High School in Dallas, Texas. Geneva was retired from the Dallas Independent School District after serving many years as a cafeteria manager. She also retired from the Atoka School District after serving in numerous positions there. She married Dwayne H. Bryan in 1986. They were married for 24 cherished years until his passing in 2010. An active member of Iron Stob Pentecostal Church, she enjoyed teaching children's church, singing and worshiping alongside her family and friends. Geneva was born with a green thumb and she greatly enjoyed growing and canning her own vegetables. Many of which she entered into contests at the County Fair, winning numerous ribbons for her delicious specialties. Not only was she a great gardener, she was a good cook and baker. She traveled often with her sister, cousin and friends with God's Golden Jubilee, visiting Branson many times over to see all the shows. More than anything though, she loved spending time with her children and grandchildren. They were the light of her life and her pride and joy. She was a faithful believer in Jesus Christ and kind to anyone she met. Always eager to help those in need and a caregiver to so many. She will truly be missed by her family and friends.
Geneva is survived by her sons, Jim Adams of Lane,Ok, Tim and wife Tammy of Carefree, Arizona. Daughter-in-Law, Stephanie Adams of Crowley, Tx. Grandchildren , Nichole Adams of Farmers Branch, Texas, Ashley Pelosi and husband Mike of Fort Worth, Tx, Lindsey Waters and husband Derek of Watauga, Tx, Tyler Adams of Crowley, Tx, Korey Adams of Crowley, Tx, Zack Adams of Crowley, Texas, and Addison Adams of Lane, Ok.; Great Grandchildren, Michael Pelosi, Makenzie Pelosi, Abigail Pelosi, Madeline Waters, Parker Waters, Jaxson Adams, Kolbie Howard, Lainey Thompson, Korey Adams, Tyler Adams, Zack Adams, brothers, Lester Bradford of Lane, Ok, Cotton Bradford of Lane, Ok; sisters, Helen McGraw of Lane, Ok, Wanda Brown of Ovilla, Tx; along with nieces, nephews, other relatives and many dear and loved friends.
Geneva was preceded in death by her parents Adam and Maggie Bradford, brother, Haskell Bradford, husband Dwayne Bryan, son, John Adams, and first husband James Adams.
