Obituary

George Washington Hall Jr., age 88, a longtime Atoka, OK resident, was born on Tuesday, January 23, 1934, to George Washington and Nettie L. (Jackson) Hall Sr., at Boggy Depot, OK. He was raised in Boggy Depot, lived in Ft. Worth from 1952 - 1980 and came back to Boggy Depot. George passed away on Monday, June 6, 2022 at Atoka, OK. He attended school at Boggy Depot. George started out working at a service station in Ft. Worth, TX and managed an auto parts store for many years. After moving back to Atoka, he worked for Wyrick's Lumber Co. for 18 years. He married Eva Mae (Ballard) on Tuesday, May 13th, 1952 at Atoka, OK. They celebrated 69 years of marriage before her passing on August 31, 2021. George was raised Southern Baptist and attended Stringtown Baptist church for years. He was a member of Lake Country Cruisers Car Club, caretaker and overseer of the Boggy Depot Cemetery Association.
George is survived by his sons, George H. Hall and wife Gina of Atoka, OK, Stephen C. Hall and wife Valerie of Atoka, OK; daughter, Deborah E. Biela of Ft. Worth, TX; grandchildren, Chance E. Hall and wife Misty of Atoka, OK, Justin B. Hall and wife Lacey of Atoka, OK, Daniel W. Gipson of Norman, OK, Alexis S Hatter and husband Tyler of Atoka, OK, Caelan C. Hall and fiancé Laura Feuerhelm of Atoka, OK, Dustin T. Biela of Ft. Worth, TX, Jennifer N. Biela of Ft. Worth, TX; great grandchildren, Olivia J. Hall of Atoka, OK, Samuel E. Hall of Atoka, OK, Liam G. Hall of Atoka, OK, Teagan, R. Hall of Atoka, OK, Guhner J. Hall of Atoka, OK, Ellie B. Hall of Atoka, OK, Kenlie B. Hatter of Atoka, OK, Kolten T. Hatter of Atoka, OK, Nicholas H. Mouton of Ft. Worth, TX, Jase A. Frontino of Ft. Worth, TX; sisters, Olive Nuttall of Dierks, AR, Irene Warman of Canyon City, CO; cousin Melanie Andrews and husband Bob of Cartwright, TX; along with nieces, nephews, other relatives and many dear friends.
George was preceded in death by his parents, George Washington "Bud" and Nettie L. Hall Sr.; wife, Eva Mae Hall; siblings, Leroy Hall, Jim Hall, Lunsford "Monk" Hall, Arvel Hall, Bonnie Hall Crane, Leoma Dollars.
