PASSED AWAY: Wendell passed away on October 21, 2010, Caney, Oklahoma. AGE 66 YEARS 0 MONTHS AND 11 DAYS EDUCATION: He attended school in Odessa, Texas. MARRIED: Wendell married Mamie Lee Johnson on March 9, 1979, at Sherman, Texas. OCCUPATION: He worked for County District 3 as a Truck Driver. CHURCH AFFILIATION, HOBBIES, AND OTHER AFFILIATIONS: Wendell visited Wards Chapel Baptist Church. He was a veteran of the Navy, served in San Diego, CA. and was discharged in 1962. Wendell worked hard all of his life he came out retirement to take a position with Atoka County Commissioner office in Dist. #3. He enjoyed fishing and spending time with his friends and his "little bride", Mamie. His pride and joy was his children and grandchildren. SURVIVED BY WIFE: Mamie Maxey of the home in Atoka, OK.
