George David Stark, age 72, an Atoka, OK resident, was born on Wednesday, November 23, 1949, to William George and Beatrice Modean (Shelton) Stark, at Ft. Stockton, TX. George passed away on Friday, July 8, 2022 at Coalgate, OK. He attended Atoka Public Schools. George was self- employed. George proudly served his country in The Army. George attended Assembly of God. He loved playing football in high school, deer hunting, and fishing. George proudly served his country in the Army, he worked in the oilfield and in a feed store with Bud Pitts. Later in his life George was disabled.
George is survived by his son, Franklin Shatto and wife Julie of Atoka, OK; daughter, Genea Shatto and fiance Vet Colbert of Atoka, OK; grandchildren, Talysa Shatto of Tupelo, OK, Austin Johnson of Atoka, OK, Paul Villareal of Coalgate, OK, Ashley Edwards of Tishomingo, OK; siblings, Richard Green of Atoka, OK, Norma (Stark) Hogan and husband Dale of Lane, OK, Wanda (Stark) Logue and husband James G. of Atoka, OK, Freddie Stark and special friend Peggy of Atoka, OK, Louis "Pete" Stark and wife Drenda of Atoka, OK, Debbie (Stark) Powell and husband Robert of Atoka, OK, Tommy Stark of Atoka, OK, Rita (Stark) McGarrah and husband Denver of Springdale, AR, Billy Stark of Roswell, NM, George Stark of Roswell, NM, along with numerous nieces, nephews, cousins, other relatives, and many loved friends.
George was preceded by his parents, William and Beatrice Modean (Shelton) Stark; mother of his children, Patricia Shatto; sister, Ruby Green; special cousin, Billy Joe Hutson
