Georgia Caryol (Fuller) Holcomb, age 76, a McKinney, TX resident, formerly of Atoka County, was born on Thursday, September 3, 1942, to Charles Floyd and Sylvia Catherine (New) Fuller, at Lane, OK. Georgia passed away on Wednesday, January 2, 2019 at her home in McKinney, TX. She attended Lane Elementary and graduated from Atoka High School. Georgia was a Librarian's Aide for Plano School District. She married Raymond Leroy Holcomb on Saturday, October 29th, 1966 at Durant, OK. They enjoyed 49 years together before his passing on March 4, 2015. Georgia was a member of Lane Baptist Church. She enjoyed gardening, flowers, reading, cooking and loved being a full time grandmother.
Georgia is survived by her son, Charles Holcomb and wife Heather of McKinney, TX; grandchildren, Aaron Michael Holcomb of McKinney, TX, Renee Danielle Holcomb of McKinney, TX, Eric Thomas Holcomb of McKinney, TX; sister, Theda Dodson of Lane, OK; nephew, Gene Dodson and wife Jenetta of Lane, OK; niece, Katy Marlow Dodson of Lane, OK; along with other relatives and many dear and loved friends.
Georgia is preceded in death by her parents, Charles Floyd and Sylvia Catherine (New) Fuller; husband, Raymond Leroy Holcomb; brother in law, Ronald Dodson.
