Georgia Lee (Patrick) Jackson, age 89, a longtime Atoka and Coalgate, OK resident, was born on Wednesday, March 19, 1930, to George and Florence (Flewallen) Patrick, at Mill Creek, OK. Georgia passed away on Monday, April 22, 2019 at Coalgate, OK. She attended Mill Creek High School.
Georgia was a waitress and worked for Debbie Ann's Sewing Factory. She was married to Kenneth M. Jackson for many years before his passing on January 5, 2015. Georgia was a Christian. She enjoyed sewing and gardening. She had a green thumb.
Georgia is survived by her children, David Tisdell of Dallas, TX, Rita Benson and husband Toni of Stringtown, OK, Melvin "Hopper" Jackson and wife Sheila of Coalgate, OK, Tonya Hensley and husband Rick of Daisy, OK, Jessie Jackson of Stringtown, OK, Wally Jackson and wife Cinda of Hobart, OK, Raymond Jackson and wife Ahlona of Stringtown, OK, Debbie Borjesson and husband Randy of Oregon, Randall Jackson of Indianapolis, IN; brothers, Clarence Patrick and wife Lois of Mill Creek, OK, Bill Patrick and wife Nita of Sulphur, OK, T.J. Patrick and wife Geraldine of Colbert, OK, Arthur Patrick of Mill Creek, OK; sisters, Lorene Herrington of Sulphur, OK, Mattie Stanley and husband Dillard of Oklahoma City, OK, Ethel Cleveland and husband Dennis of Mill Creek, OK; 40 grandchildren and many great grandchildren; along with nieces, nephews, other relatives and many dear and loved friends.
Georgia is preceded in death by her parents, George and Florence (Flewallen) Patrick; husband, Kenneth Jackson; children, Kay Lynn Jones, Eugenia Capshaw, Michael Tisdell; grandson, David Tisdell; great grandson, John Michael Usher; brothers, LeeRoy Patrick, Floyd Patrick, Edmond Patrick; sister, Corareine Altenbaugh.
