Gerald Raymond Robertson, age 62, an Atoka, OK resident since 1968, was born on Sunday, December 16, 1951, to Jack and Dorothy Mae (Aldrich) Robertson, in Lorain, OH. Gerald passed away on Wednesday, February 5, 2014 in Tulsa, OK. He attended school in Lorain, OH then graduated from Atoka High School in 1970. Gerald was a lifetime farmer and rancher. He worked for the United States postal service for 23 years in the Atoka office as a clerk then later as a rural carrier. After retirement he owned and operated a used car lot in Tushka. He married Nina Dean (Hardman) on May 26, 1974 at the Wapanucka Church of Christ. Gerald loved wood working, farming, ranching, running his dozer and fishing with his kids. He was a fabricator. He enjoyed designing and creating. He could make just about anything out of scrap iron. He loved his family, especially his grandkids. They had a way of turning a bad day into a great one. Gerald is survived by his wife, Nina Dean Robertson of the home in Atoka, OK.; sons, James Wayne Robertson and wife Christie Jo of Atoka, OK., Justin Ryan Robertson and wife Jamie of Atoka, OK.; mother, Dorothy Robertson of Broken Bow, OK.; grandchildren, Hollee Dennis, Jaxtin Ryan Robertson, Jake Christopher Robertson and expecting another grandson very soon.; sisters, Linda McDaniel and husband Elvis of Broken Bow, OK., Susan Scott and husband Les of Denver, CO.; along with numerous nieces, nephews, cousins, Hardman in-laws, and many other relatives and dear friends.
