She did not learn to drive until she was 43 years old. Other: She was a life member of the Ladies Auxiliary, VFW Post 1198 where she was past District 4 President, Past Aux. President for VFW Post 1198, Auxiliary Treasure, Member of the Cottonwood Baptist Church, which she was very proud to be a member. She became a Christian at the age of 11, baptized in Lehigh Baptist Church. She was a member of the O.F.C.E., Homemakers Round Hill, Member R.S.V.P, and W.M.U. She also was a Sunday School Teacher. She was a strong supporter of our Military , her father served in the Army, son Charles served in the Army, son Eddie served in the Navy, brother, Kenneth served in the Army, brother , Bob served in the Army, Grandson, Jessie in the Navy, Grandson, Dewayne in the Navy, Brother-in-law Law Ross in the Army? Air Force, his son Billy Ross on the Army, Don in the Army, Jerry in the Marine Corps, killed in Vietnam. She was always ready to support thats why she was a member of the VFW Auxiliary and the American Legion Auxiliary.
