Gilbert Ray Kirkland, a Moore resident, was born on January 26, 1944, to Olva Dinton "OD" Kirkland and Ruby Azlene (Timmons) Kirkland, at Rock Springs, WY. He passed away on May 15, 2023 at Oklahoma City, Oklahoma, at the age of 79 years, 3 months and 19 days. Gilbert graduated from Olney High School in the Class of 1962. He retired from the U.S. Marine Corps. Gilbert was an Infantry Marine during the Vietnam War. He married Evelyn Elizabeth Nichols on October 22, 1967 at Coalgate, OK. She preceded him in death. Gilbert enjoyed hunting and driving his 1969 Pontiac GTO. His favorite times were spent with those he loved.

Chloe Kirkland of Norman, OK

Along with numerous nieces, nephews & dearly loved friends
