BORN: She was born on December 20, 1938, to Walker Willie and Jessie Lee (Barnard) Wood, at Checotah, OK.

PASSED AWAY: Ruth passed away on September 19, 2017 at Oklahoma City, OK.

AGE: 78 years, 8 months and 30 days.
EDUCATION: Ruth attended Porum H.S., Conner State College, and received her Bachelor's Degree at Northeastern State College, and furthered her education at Southeastern Oklahoma State University and received her Master's at East Central University.

OCCUPATION: Ruth taught school at Stigler, Olney and Cottonwood Schools where she retired from after many years.

MARRIED: Ruth married Billy Weathers on May 22, 1964 in Porum, OK at the Methodist Church.

CHURCH AFFILIATION, HOBBIES AND OTHER AFFILIATIONS: Ruth was a member of the Cottonwood Baptist Church.
