Obituary

Glen Houston Dillard, a Caney, OK resident, was born on Tuesday, November 7, 1944, to Houston Leslie and Lucy (Pruett) Dillard, at Caney, OK. Glen passed away on Friday, December 19, 2025 at Caney, OK at the age of 81 years, 1 month and 12 days. He graduated from Caney High School with the Class of 1962. Glen was a Diesel Mechanic for Southwest Tractor for many years and raised cattle. He married Christine Gipson on Saturday, July 16th, 1966 at Atoka, OK, they spent 53 wonderful years together before her passing in 2019. Glen was of the Baptist faith and a member of Mt. Carmel Baptist Church. He enjoyed hunting, fishing, duck hunting, working in the garden, canning, traveling especially cruises, and he was always ready for an adventure.
He is survived by his sons, Randel Dillard and wife Linda of Caney, OK, Anthony Dillard and wife Janie of Caney, OK; grandsons, Jeffrey Dillard of Caney, OK, Toby Miller and wife Ileana of Atoka, OK, Brad Miller and wife Brandi of Caney, OK. Eric Dickerson of Caney, OK, Chris Dickerson of Caney, OK, Jonathan Dickerson of Caney, OK; great grandchildren, Avery Dickerson, Zachary Dickerson, Jalie Miller, Jersie Miller, Trenton Miller, Travis Miller, Harold Garett, Joshua Garett, Toby Johnson, Allie Marksberry; sisters, Norma Lee Smith of Sherman, TX, Trisha Settlemire of Atoka, OK; brothers, Roy Dillard and wife Jackie of Caney, OK, Ron Dillard and wife Lisa of Caney, OK; uncle, Bill Pruett of Oklahoma City, OK; brother in law, Ted Leflore of Atoka, OK; Along with numerous nieces, nephews, cousins, and many loved and dear friends.
Glen was preceded in death by his wife, Christine Dillard; father, Houston Leslie Dillard; mother, Lucy (Pruett) Parham; step father, Curtis Parham Jr.; sister, Wilma Gibby; brothers in law, Johnny Gibby, Donnie Smith
