Glenda Sue (Jackson) Nuttall, age 75, a longtime Atoka, OK resident. She was born on Monday, July 26, 1948, to Glen Rosevelt and Opal Juanice (Bratton) Jackson, at Terrell, TX with her twin brother, Glen Earl Bratton. Glenda passed away on Saturday, June 29, 2024 at Durant, OK. She graduated from Royce City High School in Royce City, TX, went on to attend and graduate from Kiamichi Tech Center in Durant with a Nursing Degree. She worked at VARO Co. Parts Assembly in Garland, TX. Glenda had to go to work as an aide at Tushka Public School in order for Stephanie to quit throwing fits every morning in 1979. She then began working at Atoka Colonial Manor in 1982 and obtained her Nursing License in 1984. She also worked at Caddo Nursing Home for 2 years, Atoka Hospital for 12 years and then retired from Med Corp Plus after 20 years as a Case Manager, with 34 years of nursing, but never retired from nurturing Pops and their 43 babies. She married Dorman Nuttall on Friday, February 11th, 1972 at Royce City, TX. They celebrated 52 years of marriage. Glenda enjoyed reading her Bible, was a member of High Hill Missionary Baptist Church, enjoyed tending her flowers and visits from the littles. She was all about her family and loved every single one of them dearly.Glenda is survived by her husband, Dorman Nuttall of the home in Atoka, OK; children, Jimmy Nuttall and wife Samantha of Wilson Community, OK, Dana Chapman and husband Ryan of Durant, OK, Angie Nuttall of Tushka, OK, Stephanie Dixon and husband Cliff of Tushka, OK; grandchildren, Sarah Nuttall, Dustin Rowton and wife Tori, Shelby Rowton and wife Cori, Dusty Hall, Sharawn Givens and husband Dusty, Maci Hall, Zachary Mendoza, Ethen Nuttall and wife Ashten, Tristen Nuttall and wife Stasia, Waylon Henderson and wife Bethany, Hunter Eaves and husband Josh, Kolton Dixon, Kaden Dixon, Kynsey Dixon; 30 great grandchildren; twin brother, Glen Earl Bratton of Riggins, ID; along with other relatives and many dear and loved friends.
Glenda was preceded in death by her parents, Glen Rosevelt and Opal Juanice (Bratton) Jackson; in laws, Robert Otho and Leota Lavona Nuttall; grannie, Jessie Bratton.
