Glenn Franklin Lain, age 83, a lifetime Atoka, OK resident was born on Monday, February 24, 1936, to Theodore T. and Winnie Lou (Williams) Lain, at Atoka, OK. Glenn passed away on Saturday, May 11, 2019 at Durant, OK. He attended grade school at Star and graduated from Tushka High School. Glenn was a Truck Driver for the Navy Ammunition Plant and for Atoka County. Glenn proudly served his country in the U.S. Army. He married Pauline Lain. She precedes him in death in 2017 in California. Glenn was an avid hunter, fisher, and trapper.
Glenn is survived by his sister, Patsy Rose of Atoka, OK; nieces, Gloria Eddings of Atoka, OK, Deborah Stewart of Atoka, OK, Karon Clark and husband Bob of Atoka, OK, Judith Taylor of Atoka, OK, Heather Minor of Atoka, OK, Randi Minor of Atoka, OK; nephews, Josh Minor of Atoka, OK, Jeremiah Minor of Atoka, OK; stepson, Tommy Willeby of Centrahoma, OK; stepdaughter, Joyce Willeby of Centerahoma, OK, Tauni Nichols of Texas; special grandson, Shannon Speers of Oklahoma City, OK; along with cousins, other relatives and friends.
Glenn is preceded in death by his parents, Theodore and Winnie Lou (Williams) Lain; wife, Pauline Lain; brother, Ted Lain; nephew, David Taylor; stepson, Ray Speers
