Harlan Lee Jewell,70, of Tishomingo, Oklahoma passed away Sunday, February 15, 2009 at his home in Tishomingo. He was born in Albion, Pennsylvania to Errol Leslie and Kathryn Irene(White)Jewell on November 1, 1938. He married Renee Latimer in 1965 at Lynwood, CA. Harlan worked in the aircraft manufacturing business before retiring in 1999. He enjoyed bluegrass music, fishing, traveling, collecting coins and watching western movies on TV. He is survived by: wife, Renee Jewell of Bellflower, CA; daughter, Rochelle Jewell-Carter of Anaheim, CA; son, Harlan Jewell, Jr. of Bellflower, CA; grandchildren, Emily Jewell and Zachery Carter both of Anaheim, CA; sisters, Maxine Harrison of Colorado Springs, CO and Cheryl Gebhart of Bellflower, CA; brothers, Donald Jewell of Rancho Cucamonga, CA and Eric Jewell of Albe, NM. Harlan was preceded in death by his parents and sister, Lois Culbertson. Services were under the direction of Brown's Funeral Service of Madill, Oklahoma.
