NAME: Harley Jenkins, age 79, a lifelong Caney, OK resident.

BORN: He was born on Sunday, August 29, 1937, to William Harrison and Effie (Blagburn) Jenkins, at Caney, OK.

PASSED AWAY: Harley passed away on Sunday, October 16, 2016 at Caney, OK.

AGE: 79 years, 1 month and 17 days.

EDUCATION: He attended school at Caney where he graduated in 1956. He went on to attend Eastern Oklahoma State University on a basketball scholarship and then to SOSU.

OCCUPATION: Harley worked for a Seismic Engineering Company for 12 years, and 36 years at Ameristate Bank. He was a Senior Vice President and Director when he retired in 2006.

MARRIED: He married Judy Sue (Brandon) on Friday, March 4th, 1960 at Roswell, N.M. They had 56 wonderful years together.

CHURCH AFFILIATION, HOBBIES AND OTHER AFFILIATIONS: Harley was a Southern Baptist, a member of Caney Baptist Church, Atoka Lions and Rotary Club. He loved dominoes, golfing, OU football and feeding his catfish.
