Harold Gene Harper Jr., age 60, an Atoka, OK resident, was born on Saturday, September 16, 1961, to Harold Gene Harper Sr. and Delva Jean (Moore) Giles, at Oklahoma City, OK. Harold passed away on Friday, August 19, 2022 at Atoka, OK. He graduated from Sherman High School in 1980 and went on to receive an Associate's Degree at Grayson County College. Harold was a concrete mason and also officiated basketball, baseball, and football. Harold was a member of the Eastside Church of Christ in Oklahoma City, and a member of the Masonic Lodge. He enjoyed playing chess, lifting weights, and playing sports.
Harold is survived by his special friend, Carla Brooks of Atoka, OK; children, Tashawn Johnson of Jacksonville, TX, Tiffany Harper of Sherman, TX, Harold Harper III of Sherman, TX, Dlorah Harper of Sherman, TX, Robert Harper of Sherman, TX, Alexus Walker of Oklahoma City, OK, Michael Harper of Atoka, OK, Harley Harper of Atoka, OK, Hayli Harper of Atoka, OK, Analise Harper of Oklahoma City, Oklahoma, Noah Birdow of Oklahoma City, Oklahoma; siblings, Lori Harper of Sherman, TX, Corey Sutter and wife Dorothy of Oklahoma City, OK, Karen Hughes and husband Gerald of Sherman, OK; 15 grandchildren and 1 great grandson; along with other relatives and many dear friends.
Harold was preceded in death by his father, Harold Gene Harper Sr.; mother, Delva Jean (Moore) Giles; stepfather, Jimmy Giles; siblings, Robert Harper, Crystal Sutter, Lorraine Young, Holette Denise Harper; grandson, Roman Harper; uncles, Karo Harper Sr., Jimmy Moore Sr..
