Hastings George Savage was born April 21, 1920 in McMillan, Oklahoma to William Ernest and Martha Lou (Little) Savage. He graduated from Madill High School in 1939. In January 1942, Hastings joined the Army. He married Cora Roxie Riddles on February 15, 1950, in Ardmore, Oklahoma. They made their home in the Rocky Point area, where he was a cattle rancher until he retired last fall. He belonged to the Masonic Lodge for 50 years and was a member of the V.F.W. and the American Legion. Hastings went to be with his Savior, Monday, March 18, 2008 in Madill, Oklahoma. He will be mourned by his wife Roxie of the home, Children Hastings Savage Jr., Roxanne and Steve Juergens Grandchildren Leigh-Anne and James Yeager, Jon and Jennifer Juergens, Jamie Juergens and Alexandria Savage Great Grandchildren Christofer and Jeremiah Yeager Special friends Carol and Ronald Ellis, Johnny and Lujuana Crawford, Jim and Ama Perry, and numerous nieces, nephews, and many dear and loved friends and neighbors.
