PASSED AWAY: Virginia passed away on Thursday, September 4, 2014 at Coalgate, OK. AGE: 84 years, 3 months and 17 days. EDUCATION: She graduated from Limestone Gap in 1950. OCCUPATION: Virginia retired after working 35 years for Blue Bell in Coalgate, sewing Wrangler Blue Jeans. MARRIED: She married Byron Dale Smith on May 20, 1950 in Atoka, OK. CHURCH AFFILIATION, HOBBIES AND OTHER AFFILIATIONS: Virginia was a longtime member of Stringtown First Baptist Church. She loved sewing, singing in the choir, working in her flower garden, raising cattle and spending time with her grandchildren. Virginia enjoyed her association with Stringtown Seniors and served as their treasurer for 15 years. SURVIVED BY CHILDREN: Don Wayne Smith and wife Susan of Hodgen, OK.
