Obituary

Helen Jeanine "Jeanie" (Rector) Dale, age 67, a lifelong Lane area resident until moving to Atoka in 2004, was born on Saturday, December 19, 1953, to Danny Lee and Marjorie Helen (Amiott) Rector, at Santa Paula, CA. Jeanie passed away on Wednesday, November 24, 2021 at Oklahoma City, OK. She attended Lane and Atoka schools and went on to attend Kiamichi Vo-Tech where she received training in Billing & Coding. Jeanie worked for First National Bank, Walmart, Allen Lumber, Ethan Allen and the last 14 years at Atoka County Medical Center in charge of the Coding & Billing until her illness. She married Gary McCool on September 8, 1970 in Atoka and later married Marvin Dale Jr. on Friday, May 27th, 2005 in DeQueen, Arkansas. Marvin and Jeanie celebrated 16 years of marriage before her passing. Jeanie was of the Baptist faith and was a member of Lane Baptist Church.

Jeanie was a devoted mother to Lori and Heath and loving stepmom to Marvin III and Brian. She adored all of her kids "born in" and "married in" to the family the same. She loved spoiling all of her grandkids and was an amazing cook. Her constant side kick and shadow Daisy, was her best little friend. She loved her work girls dearly and enjoyed anytime they all got together to have a girl's night and watch Blake Shelton. She had the most animated stories and warmest smiles. She was feisty and she had the best heart. She and Marvin were the best pair, always finishing each other's sentences and taking care of each other. She was a joy to everyone who was blessed to know her.

Her favorite hobby was online shopping. Jeanie loved watching her grandchildren play sports and being with her family.
Jeanie is survived by her husband, Marvin Dale Jr. of the home in Atoka, OK; children, Lori Allen and husband Jeremy of Atoka, OK, Heath McCool and friend Jennifer Purcell of Atoka, OK, Marvin Dale III and wife Kasey of Guthrie, OK, Brian Dale and wife Robin of Lucas, TX; grandchildren, Jaisa Berry and husband Zac of Atoka, OK, Josey Allen of Mead, OK, Jessi Allen of Atoka, OK, Devin McCool of Durant, OK, Nolan & Ella Dale of Lucas, TX, Beau Dale and Luke Dale of Guthrie, OK; great granddaughter, Danni Berry of Atoka, OK; sisters, Joyce Ceriotti and husband David of Lane, OK, Judy Johnson of Lane, OK; brothers, Danny "Lucky" Rector and wife Carolyn of Lane, OK, Michael Rector and wife Janet of Lane, OK; uncles, Carey Rector and wife Eva of Farris, OK, Snoony Bill Rector of Farris, OK; along with numerous nieces, nephews, other relatives and many dear and loved friends.
