Obituary

Helen M. (Youngblood) Newberry, age 95, a Wardville resident was born on February 12, 1925, to James Lewis and Inez (Baxter) Youngblood, at Chockie, OK. She passed away at her home on June 25, 2020 in Wardville OK. Helen attended and graduated from Limestone Gap High School in 1941 as the Valedictorian of her class. After graduation Helen married the love of her life and high school sweetheart, JV Newberry. She worked in the California shipyards as a tack welder during WWII, at Bluebell in Coalgate, and at McAAP. Her most loved jobs were being a Homemaker, Mother & Granny. Helen was a member of the Wardville Baptist Church
