NAME: Henry J. Moreland, age 78, a lifelong Atoka, OK resident.

BORN: He was born on Saturday, September 25, 1937, to Ralph William and Dessie May (Allen) Moreland, at Lane, OK.

PASSED AWAY: Henry passed away on Tuesday, May 10, 2016 at Coalgate, OK.

AGE: 78 years, 7 months and 15 days.

EDUCATION: He attended Iron Stob and graduated Atoka High School.

OCCUPATION: Henry was a truck driver and highlined for his son Derriel.

MILITARY: Henry proudly served his country in the Army during the Korean War.

MARRIED: He married Elsie (Jacob) on Friday, July 28th, 1989 at Las Vegas, NV. They had 26 wonderful years together.

CHURCH AFFILIATION, HOBBIES AND OTHER AFFILIATIONS: Henry was of the baptist faith. He was an avid hunter and fisherman, especially catfish and crappie. Henry enjoyed being outdoors and he loved life.
