OBITUARY NAME: Homer Carl Booze, age 91, moved from Wayne , OK. to become an Atoka resident in 2001 BORN: on March 21, 1919 at Tamaha, Haskell County,OK. to Elmer and Rhoda (Burnett) Booze PASSED AWAY: Saturday, May 15, 2010 at Atoka , Oklahoma AGE: 91 YEARS 1 MONTHS AND 24 DAYS EDUCATION: He attended school at Wilson Community schools MARRIED: Homer married Cleo Johnson on December 13, 1941 at Atoka, OK. OCCUPATION: He was a farmer and an employee of the Oklahoma Highway Department until his retirement. CHURCH AFFILIATION, HOBBIES, AND OTHER AFFILIATIONS: Homer was affiliated with Hillcrest Baptist Church . He served his county in WWII with the United States Navy in the Carolina Islands overseas. At the time of his death, Mr. Booze was a resident of the Atoka Manor Nursing Home SURVIVED BY Wife: Cleo Booze of the home in Atoka Children: Alma Black of Dill City, OK Carlene Lytle of Royse City, Tx. Bill Booze of Atoka, OK. Wayne Booze and wife Jeanie of Mustang, OK. Linda Fussell and husband Darrell of Atoka, OK. Jeannie Turner and husband Bo of Norman, OK. Homer also had a combination of 86 grand, great and great great grandchildren and there are still 5 sets of 5 generations left in the family Brothers: Clyde Booze of Ft. Worth, TX. Tom Booze of Burleson, TX. Along with numerous nieces, nephews, cousins, and other relatives and many dear and loved friends.
