OBITUARY

Homer 'Glen' Haney, an Ada resident, was born on April 10, 1939, to Homer Cecil and Lillian Oneta (Bigford) Haney, at Olney, OK. He passed away on July 23, 2026 at Ada, OK at the age of 87 years, 3 months and 13 days. Glen graduated from Olney High School before attending Murray State College. He was the owner and operator of Phillips-Haney Lumber Yard for over 45 years; he also was a farmer and rancher. Glen married the mother of his children, Delores Jean Citron on November 22, 1963, they spent 22 years together before her passing on September 3, 1985. He went on to marry Sandra Lynn Glover on May 26, 1990 at the Presbyterian Church. Glen was a member of the Coalgate Methodist Church and the Oklahoma Lumberman’s Association for many years, serving in various positions as President and Vice President. He was very active in the community of Coalgate, often donating to various causes. Glen loved playing dominoes and in his later years enjoyed golfing.

GREAT-GRANDCHILDREN: Bentley, Connor, Gunner, Harper Johnson, and Daniel Wilson

SISTER: Frances Thompson and husband Charles of Clarita, OK

BROTHERS: George Haney and wife Ione of Coalgate, OK, Kenny Haney of Coalgate, OK

STEP CHILDREN: Keith McDaniel and wife Susie of Sulphur, OK, Lesley McDaniel of Sulphur, OK

STEP GRANDCHILDREN: Cody McDaniel and wife Rocio of Japan, Cade McDaniel of Davis, OK, Koye Shipman of Clear Water, UT, Wyatt Knott and wife Neveah of Davis, OK, Kaylyn Ducharm and husband Colin of Ada, OK

STEP GREAT-GRANDCHILDREN: Bentley, Blackley, and Oakley

Along with numerous other dearly loved family members and friends.
