Howard Dale Powell, a Lehigh resident, was born on November 2, 1958, to Howard Glen Powell and Vera Geraldine (Evans) Fritcher, at Coalgate, Oklahoma. He passed away on December 6, 2023, at his home in Lehigh surrounded by the ones he loved. Dale was 65 years, 1 month and 4 days. He attended schools in Lehigh, Olney, Coalgate and Atoka. Dale was a truck driver for many years. He was a U.S. Marine. Dale married Paula Rene Livingston on February 29, 1992 at Lehigh, Oklahoma. They celebrated 31 years together before his passing. He enjoyed fishing, going to casinos and riding Harley motorcycles. His favorite times were spent with his children and grandchildren.
