Iva Joan Dillard, age 84, a McAlester, OK resident. She was born on Thursday, November 19, 1936, to Arnold and Maxine (Whitted) Bartley, at Chehalis, WA. Joan passed away on Saturday, February 20, 2021 at McAlester, OK. She graduated from Camas Valley High School, and attended nursing school in Ft. Smith, Arkansas. Joan was a housewife, and a licensed vocational nurse. She married Paul Wesley Dillard on Thursday, May 6th, 1954 at Camas Valley, Oregon. Joan was a member of First Assembly of God in McAlester. She enjoyed taking care of her family, and loving her grandchildren. Joan was also an avid reader. Joan is survived by her daughter: Belinda Mack and husband Tom of Houston, TX; son: Michael Dillard and wife Bonney of McAlester, OK; grandsons: Jordan Mack and wife Genie of Houston, TX, Parker Mack of Houston, TX; granddaughters: Kassidy Pearce and husband David of Dubois, PA, Kimmy Yeager and husband Ryan of Winsdor, CA, Amanda Dillard-Johnson and husband Frankie of McAlester, OK; grandchildren: Reese Schoggins, Harlan Johnson, Addyson Yeager, Aubrey Yeager, Eleanor Mack, Jude Pearce; and brother: Jerry Bartley and wife Marva of Rosenburg, Oregon. Joan is preceded in death by her husband: Paul Dillard; parents: Arnold and Maxine (Whitted) Bartley; and an unnamed baby boy.
