J. Dolores "Lole" Mata-Lopez, age 67, a longtime Caney, OK resident, was born on Thursday, March 8, 1951, to Isabel and Cruz (Lopez) Mata, at Guanajuato, Mexico. Lole passed away on Tuesday, October 16, 2018 at Durant, OK. He attended school. Lole was a butcher employed by Tucker Processing in Durant, OK. He married Cleta Mae (Sexton) on July 2, 1979 at Oklahoma City, OK. They had 40 wonderful years together. Lole attended Sulphur Springs Methodist Church also Chihowa Okla. He enjoyed gardening, lawn care, and cooking.
Lole is survived by his wife, Cleta Mae Mata of the home in Caney, OK; mother, Cruz Lopez of Mexico; daughters, Tonya Mata of Caney, OK, Jeanetta Martinez of Joplin, MO; brothers, Elias Mata of Amarillo, TX, Javier Mata of Oklahoma City, OK, Daniel Mata of Dallas, TX; sisters, Estela Mata of Mexico, Macrina Mata of Mexico; grandsons, Manuel "Junior" Maturino of Joplin, MO, Marco Maturino and wife Becca of Edmond, OK, Sequoyah Fixico of Joplin, MO, Joseph Martinez and wife Audrey of Joplin, MO, Zachary "Bubby" Mata of Joplin, MO; great granddaughter, Taygen Martinez of Joplin, MO; along with nieces, nephews, other relatives and many dear and loved friends.
Lole is preceded in death by his father, Isabel Mata; son, Rance Miguel Mata.
