Jack Lee Bush, age 74, a longtime Atoka, OK resident since 1988 was raised in Ennis, TX. He was born on Tuesday, August 29, 1950, to Harvey Lee and Reba Mae (Mooney) Bush, at Ennis, TX. Jack passed away on Sunday, February 2, 2025 at Coalgate, OK. He attended Ennis High School in Ennis, TX.  Jack owned and operated Bush Paint and Body Shop. He married Carolyn June (Tramel) on Monday, September 30th, 1968 at Danieldale, TX.  They celebrated 41 years of marriage before her passing on October 2, 2009. Jack was a member of Lake Country Cruisers Car Club. He enjoyed building and restoring antique cars, playing guitars, hunting, fishing, watching cartoons, Fox News, NFL Football and boxing. He loved hanging out with his children, grandchildren, and great grandchildren.
Jack is survived by his children, Sandy Wheeler and husband Cody of Clayton, OK, Nita Nunley and husband Brian of Lawton, OK, Becky Stenner and husband Rocky of Clayton, OK; grandchildren, Jacquie Pruit of Atoka, OK, Zach Wheeler and wife Sara of Allen, OK, Andrew Pruit and wife Danielle of Atoka, OK, Tuff Wheeler and wife Madison of Nashoba, OK, Jessica Bryant of Lehigh, OK, Kathy Richardson of Antlers, OK, Brandy Bryant of Tushka, OK, Trisha Kay and partner Mandy Herrington of Clayton, OK, Tamara Moreland and husband Dobber of Nashoba, OK; great grandchildren, Braxton, Idalie, Liam, Kaislee, Izabelle, Averlee, Elijah, Griffin, Ezekiel, Kopen, Haylee, Hayden, Tobias, Tristan, Dawson, Madden, Jayden, Ben; brothers in law, Joe Matous of Ennis, TX, George Tamel and wife Dori of Eufaula, OK; sisters in law, Donna Jones of Antlers, OK, Roxana Tumey of McAlester, OK; along with nieces, nephews, other relatives and many dear and loved friends.
Jack was preceded in death by his parents, Harvey Lee and Reba Mae (Mooney) Bush; wife, Carolyn Bush; sisters, Helen Matous, Betty Morris and husband Bill, Maybelle Morris and husband Floyd, Nancy Scott and husband Jerry; brother, Kenneth Bush and wife Mary; brothers in law, Clyde Williams, Willie Tramel and wife Lori, Ronald Jones, Samuel Tumey; sister in law, Judith Tramel.
