Jack Alva Rice, age 81, a Atoka, OK resident, was born on Wednesday, February 11, 1942, to Uel and Sammy Lee (Everett) Rice, at Coalgate, OK. Jack passed away on Tuesday, January 30, 2024 at Durant, OK. He graduated from Atoka High School with the class of 1960. Jack was the owner and operator of Rice Trucking. He married Yvonne (Darnell) on Monday, April 6th, 1964 at Atoka County. Jack enjoyed driving his truck.
Jack is survived by his wife, Yvonne Rice of the home in Atoka, OK; sisters, Sandra Rice of Atoka, OK, Nancy Smith and husband Johnny of Durant, OK; nephews, Jonathan Rice of Dallas, TX, Jake Smith and wife Kathy of Plano, TX; niece, Jodie Rice of Florida; truck driving buddies, JD Lang of Atoka, OK, Haskell Cook of Atoka, OK
He was preceded in death by his parents, Uel and Sammy Lee (Everett) Rice; brother, Joe Rice; sister in law, Jimmie Darnell
