Jackie Dale Layton, age 61, a lifetime Caney, OK resident was born on Friday, March 14, 1958, to Jack Harst and Helen Geraldine (Evans) Layton, at Coalgate, OK. Jackie passed away on Thursday, August 29, 2019 at Atoka, OK. He attended grade school in Stringtown and Caney and  graduated from Caney High School. Jackie was a Truck Driver and owner/ operator. He married Diane Marie (Watson) on Wednesday, September 15th, 1976 at Caney, Oklahoma.
He enjoyed hunting, fishing, and playing with his grandchildren.
Jackie is survived by his mother, Geraldean Layton of Durant, OK; wife, Diane Marie Layton of the home in Caney, OK; children, Megan Fincher and husband Scott of Caney, OK, Waylon Layton and wife Kendra of Placerville, CA; grandchildren Ava Layton, Dylan West, Bree Fincher, Austin Fincher, Alex Fincher; brothers, John Layton and wife Angela of Coleman, OK, Russell Layton and wife Michelle of San Antonio, TX; sister, Debbie Crites of Durant, OK; special nephews & nieces, Kyle Layton and wife Ariole of Coleman, OK, Kacey Childers and husband Jeremy of Caddo, OK, Krystle Culbreath and husband James of Caney, OK, Macie Eddings and husband Mason of Caney, OK; Chase Crites and wife Bailey of Caney, OK; Chelsea Bonham and husband Keith of Davis, OK; Alexis Layton of San Antonio, TX; very special friends, Allen Hicks of Kenefic, OK, Luke Howard of Caney, OK .Along with numerous other relatives and many dear and loved friends.
Jackie is preceded in death by his father, Jack Harst Layton

PLACE OF SERVICES:  Stewart-Gammon Cemetery, Caney, OK
OFFICIATING: Rev. Charles Sammy Howard
Dinner will be held following the celebration at Jackie's
House
