Jackie Boyd Rose, age 60, a McAlester, OK resident, formerly a longtime Jackfork resident, was born on Friday, September 20, 1957, to Gilbert Ray and Ruby (Adams) Rose, at Talihina, OK. Jackie passed away on Thursday, June 21, 2018 at McAlester, OK. He attended Pittsburg and Pauls Valley schools and graduated high school. Jackie was a maintenance worker and laborer at the Pushmataha Game Refuge.  He attended Sardis Baptist Church and Jackfork Assembly of God. Jackie loved hunting, fishing and the outdoors.
Jackie is survived by his mother, Ruby Burns and husband Jim of Jackfork, OK; brothers, Randy Rose of Jackfork, OK,  Gilbert Rose of Jackfork, OK, Ricky Rose and wife Ladena of Choctaw, OK, Nicky Rose and wife Melody of Luther, OK; sister, Teresa Mote and husband Pat of Clayton, OK; uncle,  Bud Rose of California; along with numerous nieces, nephews, other relatives and many dear and loved friends.
Jackie is preceded in death by his father, Gilbert Rose; sister in law, Laura Lee Rose; maternal grandparents, Buster and Maggie Adams; paternal grandparents, Herbert and Edna Rose; uncles, Jr. Adams, and Bill Adams; aunts, Elgene and Wanda.
