Obituary

Obituary Jackie Ray "Jack" Walker, age 74 a lifelong Lane, OK. resident, was born on March 6, 1938, to Leo Alfred Walker and Martha N. "Murrell" Walker at Muskogee, OK. Jack passed away Wednesday Dec. 5, 2012 at his home near Lane in a fire related accident. Jack attended Iron Stob, Jumbo and Atoka High School. Jack was a water well driller, logger and a rancher. He married Frances Sheffield on Sept.1, 1962 at Durant, OK. Jack attended the Crystal Baptist Church. He enjoyed fishing and hunting, gardening and mechanicing but his first love was being on his land and taking care of his cattle. Jack and Frances loved visiting and helping out at all of the area Senior Citizens centers. Jack is survived by his wife of over 50 years, Frances of the home in Lane, OK.; daughter, Cindy "Boop" Walker Love and Lee Estrada of Dallas, TX.; grandchildren, Amy Love and her daughter Amber both of Dallas, TX., Sara Love and her son Preston Miller of Dallas, TX.; sister, Betty "Bet" Walker Donaldson and family of Vandalia, Illinois; sister-in-law, Nadine Walker and family of Wilburton, OK.; along with numerous nieces, nephews, cousin other relatives and many dear friends. Jack was preceded in death by his parents, Leo and Martha Walker; infant son, Jason Walker; brothers, Leroy "Rusty" Walker and J.D. Walker.
