NAME: Jacqueline "Jackie" (Smith) McEntire, age 93, a Stringtown, OK resident.

BORN: She was born on Saturday, November 6, 1926, to George Elvin and Reba Estelle (Brasfield) Smith, at Reynolds, OK.

PASSED AWAY: Jackie passed away on Saturday, March 14, 2020 at her home in Stringtown, OK.

AGE: 93 years, 4 months and 8 days.

EDUCATION: She attended Limestone Gap where she graduated in 1943 at the age of 16. She went on to attend Southeastern Oklahoma State College in Durant, OK. She received her honoray degree at age 89.

OCCUPATION: Jackie was a school teacher, a school secretary where she retired in 1973 and a ranch helper.

MARRIED: She married Clark McEntire on Friday, March 17th, 1950 at Atoka, OK. He preceded her in death on October 23, 2014.

CHURCH AFFILIATION, HOBBIES AND OTHER AFFILIATIONS: Jackie was a longtime member of Stringtown Baptist Church, was on the board of directors for the Stringtown Public School Foundation, and a member of H.AN.D.S. (Helping A Needy Diva Survive) a rodeo organization. She enjoyed fishing, reading her treasured books and loved spending time with her family.
