OBITUARY James Leroy Boston, age 88, a longtime resident of Stringtown, OK., was born on Friday, September 26, 1924, to James and Ladie Lace (Messer) Boston, in Ratliff, OK. James passed away on Thursday, February 28, 2013 in Durant, OK. James was a heavy equipment operator for Atoka County Distinct 1, and was a bus driver for the Stringtown School System. He married Myrtle Irene Wilkerson on June 30, 1948 in Sherman, TX. James enjoyed hunting, fishing, mechanics, gardening, and like to junk up the place with old cars. James is survived by his children, Larry E. Boston and wife Dena of Tushka, OK., Donald L. Boston and wife Eva Gail of Harmony, OK., Shirley Ann Page of Caddo, OK., Ricky D Boston and wife Sheila of Stringtown, OK.; grandchildren, Tracy Lee Allen and husband John of Howe, OK., David Lee Boston and wife Melissa of Harmony, OK., Kimberly Hampton and husband Marvin of Harmony, OK., Larry D. Boston and wife Janice of Tushka, OK., Carrie Boston and husband Zachary Chon of Prosper, TX., Jennifer Page of Asher, OK., Jason Page and Bethany of Clarita, OK., Ricky James Boston of Stringtown, OK., Joshua Boston and wife Esther of Stringtown, OK.;17 great grandchildren; 1 great great grandchildren. James is preceded in death by his parents, James and Ladie Lace (Messer) Boston; wife, Myrtle Irene (Wikerson) Boston; sisters, Willie Mae Boston, Maggie Faye Burleson, Susie Lee Lemons; brothers, Joseph R.
