NAME: James "J.D." Drewey Collum, age 84, an Atoka, OK resident.

BORN: He was born on Monday, March 9, 1942, to Roy Drewey and Helen Ruth (Estes) Collum, at Ada, OK.

PASSED AWAY: James passed away on Tuesday, August 18, 2026 at his home in Atoka, OK.

AGE: 84 years, 5 months and 9 days.

EDUCATION: He graduated from high school in Owasso, attended California State University in Chico, CA, then SOSU where he received a Bachelor's Degree in Education.

OCCUPATION: J.D. was a Artist and a handyman, he was also a Tech Specialist for Cisco Computers and also taught art.

MILITARY: James proudly served his country in The United States Marines.

CHURCH AFFILIATION, HOBBIES AND OTHER AFFILIATIONS: J.D. enjoyed painting, gardening, studying numerous landscapes, tinkering with computers and tending daily to his garden. He liked photography, did a lot of photographs, adventuring across the U.S., and camping trips. He loved his family and took care of his parents when they were sick, he always took care of his own.

BROTHER: Milton Collum and wife Marge of Littleton, CO

SISTER: Victoria Wisdom of Tulsa, OK

NEPHEWS: Jason Collum of Atoka, OK, Victor Collum of Colorado

NIECE: Angela Collum of Atoka, OK

along with other relatives and many dear and loved friends.
