Obituary James Robert Elbert Carnnahan, age 71, an Atoka area resident formerly Kansas City, Mo., was born on August 16, 1939, to Everett and Margaret (Kidd) Carnnahan, at Kansas City, Kansas. James passed away on July 16, 2011, at Atoka, Ok. He graduated school in Kansas City, Kansas then attended technical school in Colorado and received his Electric Engineers License. James retired from General Motors where he was an autoworker team leader for 38 years. He married Reta Sue (Tattershall) on June 24, 1992, in Mami, Ok. James was a member of the Wilson Baptist Church, the Local 31-UAW. James is survived by his wife, Reta Carnnahan of the home in Atoka, Ok.; children, Chastity Benton of Wilson Community, Ok., Kylee Carnnahan of Wilson Community, Ok.; grandson, T.J. Asbridge of Wilson Community, Ok.; sister, Margarite Woods of Smithville, Mo.; brothers-in-law, Ronnie Tattershall and wife Kim of Smyrna, Ga., Arthur Tattershall of Collinsville, Ok., Terry Tattershall and wife Phyllis of Inola, Ok., Danny Tattershall of Atoka, Ok.; sister-in-law, Mona Shidler of Indianapolis, In.; along with numerous nieces, nephews, cousins, aunts and uncles and other relatives and friends.
