James "Alford" Eskue, age 84, a lifelong Farris, OK resident, was born on Wednesday, June 21, 1933, to J.V. "Buddy" and Juanita (Cleaver) Eskue, at Farris, OK.  Alford passed away on Sunday, December 3, 2017 at Antlers, OK.   He attended Pine Springs School, Farris School and graduated from Atoka High School.  Alford was a rancher, truck driver and farmer. Alford proudly served his country in The Navy during the Korean War. He married Patsy Genita (Moore) on Wednesday, July 21st, 1954 at Antlers, OK. She preceded him in death on February 6, 2013. They had 58 wonderful years together.  Alford enjoyed raising his dogs, goats and fishing. He loved riding, breaking horses, and spending time with his children and grandchildren.
Alford is survived by his children, Perry Eskue and fiancé Cheryl of Farris, OK, Carolyn Rector and husband Lucky of Lane, OK, Brenda Penner and husband Yancy of Antlers, OK, Chris Eskue and fiancé Brittany Ransom of Farris, OK,   Brandie Eskue of Farris, OK; sister, Betty "Sally" Flowers of  Sanger, TX; sister in law, Linda Eskue of Atoka, OK; grandchildren, Scotty Eskue and wife Linda of Rattan, OK,  Stormi McKnight and husband Rodney of Antlers, OK,  Justin Rector of Atoka, OK, Bradley Penner of Antlers, OK,  Sam Penner and wife Stacey of Antlers, OK, Colt Penner and wife Lindey of Antlers, OK, Jennifer Warren and husband Andrew of Dallas, TX, Ashley Eskue and Julie Eskue of Killeen, TX, Savanna Eskue of Durant, OK, Jase Underwood of Farris, OK; 13 great grandchildren; 1 great great grandchild; along with nieces, nephews, other relatives and many dear and loved friends.
Alford is preceded in death by his parents, "Buddy" and Juanita (Cleaver) Eskue; wife, Patsy Eskue; brother, Johnny Eskue; granddaughter, Brandi Eskue; brother in law, Melvin Flowers.
