James Holland, age 88, a Durant, OK resident, was born on Wednesday, March 18, 1925, to Albert and Ida Eva (Frair) Holland, at Kenefic, OK. James passed away on Tuesday, September 24, 2013 at Durant, OK. He attended Folsom and Hopewell schools. James was a Cotton Gin Operator. He was a member of the Milburn Church of God. James enjoyed fishing and taking care of his bees. James is survived by his daughter, Sharon Southard and husband Robert of Electra, TX.; sisters, Ida Basden of McAlester, OK., Faye Lytal of Fort Gibson, OK., Juanita Benefield of Atoka, OK.; granddaughter, Alva Jones of Durant, OK.; along with numerous nieces, nephews, other relatives and many friends.
