NAME: James Rodney "Rod" "Vito" Taumby, age 66, a Tahlequah, OK resident.
BORN: He was born on February 2, 1950, to James Lee Murphy and Wanda Jean Teagarden, at Talihina, OK.
PASSED AWAY: James passed away on November 19, 2016 at Tulsa, OK.
AGE: 66 years, 9 months and 17 days.
CHURCH AFFILIATION, HOBBIES AND OTHER AFFILIATIONS: James was known to his family as "Rod" and to most friends as "Vito." He was a born comedian and always made people laugh and smile. Vito loved spending time with his family and many friends. He loved kids and never met a stranger. Throughout his life, he worked as a bartender and painter. He was an artist who liked to draw and paint. Vito loved singing, dancing, playing pool and fast cars. He enjoyed storytelling and writing about his life experiences, as well as poetry. He was greatly loved and will be greatly missed.
