Jane (Smithart) Howard, age 78, a longtime Tushka, OK resident, was born on Tuesday, February 13, 1945, to John and Jimmie (Vanloon) Smithart, at Tushka, OK. Jane passed away on Thursday, August 24, 2023 at Collinsville, OK. She attended Tushka Schools all her life and later attended Technical School for Computer Programming. Jane was an Office Clerk. She married Hoppy McDougal and later married John Howard. Jane was of the Pentecostal Faith, she attended Mt. View and Pleasant View Church. She enjoyed working outside, gardening, building things, crocheting, needle point, sewing, fixing Sissy's clothes, and helping people.
Jane is survived by her sister, Faye Thomason of Caddo Mills, TX; niece, Angela Billy of Caddo Mills, TX; nephew, Scott Billy of Caddo Mills, TX; sister in laws, Sandy Potts and husband Jody of Collinsville, OK, Bonnie McDougal of Greeley, CO; former husband, Hoppy McDougal of Tushka, OK, along with numerous cousins, other dearly loved family, and friends.
She was preceded in death by her parents, John and Jimmie (Vanloon) Smithart; former husband, John Howard; son, Johnny McDougal; daughters, Plazz McDougal , Jamie McDougal; paternal grandparents, George and Hattie Smithart; maternal grandparents, Walter and Bonnie Vanloon, along with multiple aunts, uncles, and cousins
