Janice Louise (Hughes) Cathey, age 81, a Atoka resident, was born on August 7, 1940, to Emit Riley and Cleetie Esther (Hammons) Hughes, at Non, OK. Janice passed away on November 21, 2021 at Atoka, OK. She attended Non School, Oak Grove School and Coalgate High School. Janice was a seamstress at Blue Bell and a waitress at Roland's Bar. She married Paul Eugene Stiles in 1956. They were married for 19 years & had 5 children. She later married the love of her life Jerald "Audi" Orville Cathey on May 22, 2006. They enjoyed 7 wonderful years together before he passed away on September 19, 2013. Janice was of the Baptist Faith. She enjoyed dancing, going to concerts & drinking Diet Coke. She loved all her cats & dogs. Janice loved tending to her flower garden where she grew sunflowers, daisies, roses & morning glories. She loved the beauty of nature. She liked to crochet, camp at the lake on weekends & listen to music. Her most precious times were spent with her family.

Along with numerous nieces, nephews, cousins, relatives & many dear & loved friends
