NAME: Janice Marie (Strauser) Vick, age 70, a Mesquite resident.

BORN: She was born on October 21, 1945, to Boss Emmitt and Mary Alice (Porter) Strauser, at St. Louis, MO.

PASSED AWAY: Janice passed away on July 17, 2016 at Mesquite, TX.

AGE:  70 years, 8 months and 26 days.

OCCUPATION: Janice was a Unit Secretary at Baylor University Medical Center

MARRIED: Janice married Claude Vick on February 14, 1980 at Olney, OK, who preceded her in death on Nov 30, 2008.

CHURCH AFFILIATION, HOBBIES AND OTHER AFFILIATIONS:  Janice shared her life as the living testament for 1 Corinthians 13. She amplified love. Her love for shopping was patient as she waited for the best sale and biggest clearance. Her kindness of love to the ill as she worked at the Baylor Dallas Emergency Room with honor and respect for her work family. She did not envy or boast but she was very proud of her family, especially her grandkids and great-grandkids. She did not delight in evil but rejoiced in the truth of her unconditional love for her husband. Her love bears all things, including her developed love for our beloved dog "Bear". Her love always believed and hoped for Nadia's return to us. Her love endured all things, including her amazing spirit throughout her battle with cancer. Her love never fails us, because her love for Jesus Christ ensured that we will see her again.
