Jeannie Lee Griffith, age 71, a Atoka, OK resident, was born on Thursday, March 22, 1951, to William and Donna (Beauchamp) Yarbrough, at Floyd County, TX. Jeannie passed away on Saturday, May 28, 2022 at Coalgate, OK. She attended Lehigh schools. Jeannie was a home maker. She married John Henry Griffith Sr. on Monday, June 17th, 1968 at Coalgate, OK. They spent 54 wonderful years together before his passing in 2015.Jeannie enjoyed riding and taking trips on motorcycles, camping, cooking, and most of all spending time with her family.
Jeannie is survived by her children, Regina Griffith of Atoka, OK, John Henry Griffith Jr. and wife Becky of Tushka, OK; grandchildren, Brooklyn Jennings of Jones, OK, Dalton Griffith of Atoka, OK, Destiny Griffith of Atoka, OK, Jaden Wulffenstein of Stringtown, OK, John Griffith III of Houston, TX, Judson Griffith of Tushka, OK, Graesyn Griffith of Tushka, OK; great grandchildren, Lillian, Clyde, Claire, Carsyn, Clarity, Millard, Myles, Peighton, along with numerous brothers, sisters, other family members and many dear and loved friends.
Jeannie is preceded by her parents, William and Donna (Beauchamp) Yarbrough; husband, John Henry Griffith Sr.; brothers, Jerry Yarbrough, David Yarbrough.
