Jennifer Inez Burleson, age 37, an Atoka, OK resident, was born on Monday, October 8, 1984, to James Odie and Sherry Lynn (Gamble) Burleson, at Atoka, OK. Jennifer passed away on Saturday, January 8, 2022 at Tulsa, OK. She attended Atoka Public Schools and graduated from Tushka High School in 2003. She went on to attend ECU for her nursing degree until her accident. Jennifer was a dispatcher for the City of Ada, Atoka County and Coal County. She also worked as administrative assistant for Chickasaw Nation for 5 years. She was of the Pentecostal faith and affiliated with Lighthouse Church in Centrahoma. Jennifer loved spending time with her kids, nieces and nephews. Loved rodeos, was a very strong advocate for domestic abuse. She started her own ranch, the Rocking JC Ranch, enjoyed raising horses, Pocket Bullies and Aussies. Jennifer always looked forward to holidays and family gatherings.
Jennifer is survived by her daughters, Chloe Campbell of the home in Atoka, OK, Karlie Campbell of Centrahoma, OK; son, Liston Ray of the home in Atoka, OK; parents, James Odie and Sherry Lynn (Gamble) Burleson of Atoka, OK; sister, Kay Henbest and husband Larry of Caney, OK; brother, Bo Burleson of Atoka, OK; maternal grandmother, Geraldine Gamble of Atoka, OK; very special caretaker and friend, Chloe Harner of Atoka, OK; nieces and nephews, Braelyn Smith, Rider Smith, Hennessey Henbest, Braxton Burleson, Blakelynn Burleson; along with aunts, uncles, other relatives and many dear and loved friends.
Jennifer was preceded in death by her paternal grandmother, Leah Nora Inez Burleson; uncles, John Henry Griffith, Ray Taylor; aunts, Emma Parkhill, Sue Griffith; close friend, Donnie Campbell.
