Jeremy Allen Barnes

Jeremy Allen Barnes, age 22, a longtime Caney, OK resident, was born on Thursday, April 15, 2004, to Jeremy Paul Barnes and Ashley Paige Tonkin, at West Memphis, AR. Jeremy passed away on Friday, June 19, 2026 at Pawhuska, OK in Osage County. He graduated from Caney High School in 2022. Jeremy was a stocker at WalMart all throughout high school and after he graduated. He enjoyed collecting little games, playing video games, listening to music, collecting things, art, coins, going to comicon. Jeremy was quiet and mature and a true heart of gold who loved to work and worked hard to take care of himself. He was a homebody, very private but loved big. Was aspiring to get his CDL and go to Colorado and then Florida.

Jeremy is survived by his mother, Ashley Tonkin of Caney, OK; father, Jeremy Paul Barnes of Tupelo, MS; sisters, Rachel Barnes of Tupelo, MS, Cynthia Barnes of Tupelo, MS; uncles, Todd Tonkin of Merritt Island, FL, Tyler Sonnenbert of Merritt Island, FL, Allen Tonkin of Merritt Island, FL, Ethan Sonnenberg of Merritt Island, FL; grandmother, Kathy Moss of Tupelo, MS; along with other relatives and many dear and loved friends.
