Jerene LaRae (Jackson) Chapman, age 83, a longtime Atoka, OK resident, was born on Sunday, December 31, 1933, to Roy Alfred and Grace Evonne (Kimbrough) Jackson, at Anderson County, TX. Jerry passed away on Thursday, December 14, 2017, at Muskogee, OK. She attended East Tellico School and Atoka High School. Jerry was a homemaker and housewife. She married Roy E. Chapman, who preceded her in death.  Jerry attended New Zion Methodist Church. She enjoyed painting and framing, cooking and entertaining. Jerry loved to entertain and cook delicious meals for her family and friends. All around her home you would see her beautiful paintings she painted herself. Jerry loved her home and made everyone feel welcome.
Jerry is survived by her grandsons, Kyle Brown of Oklahoma City, OK, Jake Chapman of Pauls Valley, OK; brother,  Gerald Jackson of Prue, OK; daughter in law, Gay Norton of Pauls Valley, OK; nieces, Kim Dale and husband Dwayne of Atoka, OK,  Heather Jordan of Osage, OK,  Alison Harrison and husband Tyler of Jenks, OK; along with other relatives and many dear and loved friends.
Jerry is preceded in death by her parents, Roy and Grace Evonne (Kimbrough) Jackson; husband, Roy E. Chapman; daughter, Linda B. Brown; son, Kelly L. Chapman; brother,  Maurice Jackson; nephews, Jeff Jackson.
